About Me

Forest Town Man: Born in the county of Durham and left school at 15. Educated in a Boys Secondary Modern, left school without any qualifications Spent the next 10 months working in a Department store before joining the British Coal Board. Through NCB doing night classes, day release then college attained the HND in Mining. moved down to the Nottinghamshire coal field in 1975. left the NCB in 1991 as Deputy Manager Services.
