Jude 's first visit to Orlando Theme Parks

At just 19 months this was Jude's, my grandsons first long haul flight and visit to the theme parks of Orlando. He had us all laughing with his insistence of pulling my flight bag to the aircraft walkway. Juring the flight he was as good as gold as were all the children on this flight. Our party consisted of 7 adults and 3 children, Lexi aged 9, Daisy aged 41/2 and Jude

After passing through the immigration we picked up the 14 seat van, previous vans of this size we have hired had the rear row of seats removed so luggage space was not a problem. This van when we enquired had the rear row of seats in-situ which made it difficult to get the luggage loaded. We managed with a struggle and set of for the All Stars Resort, Music, which took us nearly one hour to get there.
Check in was quick and easy with some helpful information given by the clerks, wrist bands fitted we went to respective rooms. The rooms were basic but very clean and adequate for the purpose.

The information from the desk clerks was that our drinks mugs were supplied at the cash desks in the restaurant. After having our wrist bands scanned the mugs were handed over with advise on the system that operated in complex. At first it seemed a little complicated but in a very short space of time it became easy. One tip that was given was to fill up the drinks mug with your main meal and keep the bottle of soda that came with the meal for use when going outside the complex.
The snacks you were allowed could be purchased at all the theme parks, the exception was that drinks mugs could not be used. Any snacks not used for meals could be used to buy items in the shops like Starbucks coffee, bags of sweets (candy ) ice cream or items from the Disney store.
Overall this was very good value, and because you stayed on the Disney property you had free car parking at the theme parks. At the time of our visit car parking was $20 per day.
