One of the most frustrating Jigsaws we have even attempted. After a number of false starts and a number of rebuilds and only 8 pieces left to insert we gave up. The problems started with the connecting of the border pieces, we had one space left and one piece that did not fit. then we got the pond built almost complete but it was too far left, that was partially dismantled and positioned in its proper place. We then did the leaves and path only to find out that the last two pieces did not fit in the path, so again we moved some pieces out and got that right. The next thing was we found that the tree on the right hand side was too low and that's where the gap in the edgings was, so after arranging we completed the border. Then we came to the cottage and the small chimney was sited away from the roof so another rebuild was necessary so all there was left to do was the leaves on the tree at the top right. We spent quiet a lot time trying to sort this out removing and replacing until we had eight pieces left to go in, but none fit and that's when we decided that was enough and packed it in. So that jigsaw has beaten us, now dismantled and back in the box.
