Mindbogglers

Following on from the last post the wife has taken a giant step backwards. Following her discharge from hospital she made steady progress with weekly check ups. The check ups were mainly changing the dressings on the operation cuts and the fitting of an Airboot which allowed her some help to walk using a walking frame. After 3 weeks the Airboot was removed she was then able to fully weight bear on the injured ankle. Unfortunately the day after the boot was removed she lost her balance in the bathroom and fell full length backwards with the impact taken mostly on her buttocks. After a trip to A&E no bone damage was showing, so the outcome was internal bruising which prevents her from sitting up for more than a few minutes. After 2 weeks of pain killers the pain is still severe and the running of the house is still in my hands. With a week to go till Christmas I was looking forward to being able to take her out to have a look around the festive shops.
As most of my time is spent caring for the wife only short periods was allowed to work on the jigsaw
and I am delighted that after a lot of effort I have managed to get it complete. As the name on the box says Mindbogglers, it certainly was, the cutting is very precise and you think you have the picture correct only to find out it is not the correct one I spent some time putting 1 piece in and taking 3 out,  with the trees I ended up trying the pieces I had left one at a time in every aperture until I found the right one.
This is probably the hardest jigsaw I have every attempted, my wife constantly told me to pack it in, but in the end I DID IT.
